Saw this tidbit today, dont know if its old news but i like the potential of it. Mugler's label has been so bland and neglected sinse he stopped being involved and i wonder what the two named designers can do with it.

To be honest even a rehash of what Mugler did in his prime would be a welcome viewing for a season or two, but i am interested to see where it can be taken.

from what I can see of the video it looks quite horrible.

The guy isn't exactly a designer. Once again, its bound to be a hit with the readers of J.Hacks publications and Lady GOOGOO followers. From the snippet of a video, it looks like a 3rd rate Pugh collection.

Watching the video on VMAN I would say 'meh.

But it's not even meh... it seems like the Lohan/Ungaro train wreck, pseudo celebrity attached to known brand. This collab is equally bad but in a different way. There's a reason he's fashion director for Gaga, she's a performer.

Clothes for performance and clothes for everyday use, even if you are daring in your clothing choices, are two totally different things.

@Shye Poser : agree about the Pugh reference. Pugh's work can have that same theatrical quality ... but his stuff is wearable.. and the few pieces I've handled in person, damn good quality (all two pieces of it )

I agree. Its rather funny how we now call Gareth's clothes wearable!
Shows he has developed. I must also say that his quality is very very good. Both in terms of fabrication and construction.
