I would say they look impressive
Obviously needs work, there is a few things I dislike,

for example the lack of lining and the Studs, but I absolutely love the shapes and the classic clean cut with rough hewn feel to it!
hey are right up my alley. you need to tell/ show me more..............

Studs must go. The rest is more of a matter of taste (well, studs too, but they are most obvious), but I would never buy shoes with such narrow toebox. But someone else might. Good effort, anyway.

          Hi Zamb,

Thank you, i really like the way you work with leather.

The shoes are just studio samples really. I'm still in talks with the factory about the finish.
The silver studs are sanded and will rust, they are alittle clean looking at the moment.

          I'll PM you

I'm not a big fan of the toebox either and the leather seems to lack structure, at least from the photos. The rest looks pretty cool though, I'll be looking forward to your future work.

Looking good, however you do need some full length images to show the shoes properly. Look forward to more images! Good work.

                  They just look eurotrashy.

is it just an optical illusion or do you indeed use wires for laces? if thats the case, its totally awesome. i really really like that. has it been done before?

i agree about the shape though, they kinda lack in character. I dont think the combination of matte leather and pointed toebox works very well. i like pointed shoes, but then you would want a more shiny, edgy leather. pointed shoes are eye-catching, so it makes no sense to use discrete leather. but the craftmanship looks solid. it will be exciting to follow your progress

                      Hi quiet noise

Thanks for your comments. The laces are leather coated in a metailic fabric paint to give them that look. It's something i'm still working on getting a different look for layering the paints.
I was going for an understated look, and didn't want the shoes to shine. As matte shoes arn't something i've seen much of, it was a idea i wanted to play with. They can be polished to make them shine if that look is wanted.
Thank you for the craftmanship comment. I've never been shown how to make shoes i just watched a few videos on youtube and had a go and that's the result. So that means allot to me.

on a second thought, i do like these very much:

texture looks impressive and i like the pointed toebox. and again, the laces are outstanding. dont mind the studs as long as there are not too many of them, definitely think 2 is enough.

                          Hey,

Thanks QN, there great to wear. Have them on most days.

I will be posting more pics when i get them back from the factory as i am having samples made very soon. So they will look more together. As i'm not using any stiffeners in my shoes in the studio they look like this, and also the soles will be thicker and of a different leather.

Hope to post them in a few weeks when i get them back.

                          Thanks
                          James Kearns

I like the overall profile of these shoes but more pics are needed.

I'm not the biggest fan of the studs but maybe you just need to tinker with different types if you like the metals.

                              Cool stuff though. Nice start.
