    ROMBAUT (Shoes)

Project launched by belgian designer Mats Rombaut. He is established in Paris.

    Basically, 100% natural shoes.

Interesting process of production and materials.

His shoes will be featured in next Cedric Jacquemyn show.

Saw that he's been working with development and production in with Lanvin and Damir Doma before going solo with this project.

Anyone know if they're available anywhere?

Especially liking this shoe from his ss14 collection. Loving the construction of the tongue.

They invited me to check it out in Paris, but unfortunately there are not enough hours in the day there :( Looks nice from what I can see (not too much).

I'm really looking forward to finding out more on this brand, and seeing the stuff in person.

Yes, Layers has AW13 online now. Range from like $800-$1200.

Also, they are entirely vegan for anyone who was wondering

The treebark-material bags look interesting, but I'd love to hear (in the future) from anyone who has handled the material and can give more information about it...

SS14 looks very nice, I´m not very big fan of synthetic materials for shoes (but that is just my opinion, I´m not saying that synthetics are bad quality compared to leathers... they all have pros and cons) but in matters of design this brand looks great! would love to see the shoes in person!

The shoes for SS14 are wonderful. Mats is a nice person and really involved into this project.

What is great about the shoes is the fact every pair is unique and will age a different way. I'm very curious about how long the shoes can last but the sole seems to be very solid and resistant.

This is definitely a high end product crafted in small ateliers with very specific materials and limited quantities.

First WMN collection by belgian designer Mats Rombaut for SS14.

He keeps working on these amazing minimalist shapes and extraordinary crafted shoes.

The sole looks perfect and very solid and the whole shoe is something we prefer to expose in a museum than to use everyday ^^

Mats Rombaut is getting more and more famous and its shoes know a great success. I'm sure we will see more of them on your favorite online stores and concept stores.

Anyone tried on the LAMA sneakers? Are they comfortable?
