Re: What are you wearing today?

Those gloves are crazy. You've pulled them off very well. Well done!
let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

Thanks again for the glove love! haha!

        damn the gloves!

are they a bitch to put on and take off? maybe when they're 80% off i'll pick them up... haha

They're actually easy enough to slip on, and they stay on with the friction of your coat/jacket sleeves, although the straps snap tighter if need be. And if you can find them discounted, jump on them - Barneys Madison sold their single pair full price, as did Seven. I was lucky to get them at 40% off. Although Reborn seem to still have them in stock.

Most are spotty. Barneys (where I originally bought them at the start of the season) actually still has them at the Madison store, and on sale, as well as three new styles (including a blue and white version of the hi-tops and two leather chuka boot sneaker styles with d-ring closures) for Spring. Jeffrey also has a few left in carbon, as well as the new limited edition multi-color version (also available at mona Moore online). As far as online, Matches seems to have the largest selection: http://www.matchesfashion.com/catalo...shoes_1/page/4

Lucky of you. Enjoy the view for those next few months...By the way, may I ask you if you have already wash or dry-clean your LUC pants? The label states ONLY DRY CLEANING but being cotton I wonder if a hand-wash might work well.

Aside from suits, anything that says "dry clean only" I hand wash and dry flat. Works for me and since I'm the one doing it, I can take all the necessary care in keeping it in perfect shape.

My afternoon in NY. A couple of friends were there only for the day so I went to visit them and then came back this morning. Only had time to stop by A and say hi :( I'll be back for a couple/few days right around new years so if anyone wants to meet up at A just let me know! A NY SZ get together!

Merz, if I see one, I'll let you know. I lucked out with mine at Century 21... not as lucky as Laika got with her Linea jacket hehehe

Joey, I decided to keep it as is. The shoulder fits perfect and it's a straight cut coat so I think it fits fine through the body. For the same reason you got the size 50 fencing, I'll just keep this one as-is... good for layering and a light sweater and shirt underneath makes it fit nicely without restricting motion or making me feel like the stay-puft marshmallow man hahaha.

My "hobo-chic" look (as my Floridian friend I met up with put it) garnered a number of looks around town.

I fell off the face of the earth for a bit while I finished the semester, but now I'm all done and get to sit around and do nothing for the next few days!!

Dior coat (buttoned completely and collar popped for warmth, not style) This shows the magic of tailoring, this coat ran really big, I got a IT 44 which was still too big so I had them tailor it, now it's perfect!
