    WTB: Cloak Trench ('04)

Forgot about this one, got outbid at the last minute so now I really want it. I could probably fit in a S-M. maybe an L.

Sorry man, I hate getting outbid too. That trench is probably one
of my all-time favorite pieces. I've never seen one in person,
but I could only imagine it would fuel my desire to have one even
more. What did the winner pay?

I've sold a couple of these, they were very nice, but quite heavy. Coldrice, you might want to ask Buckwheat. The thing to watch out with those coats are the buttons, they must be reinforced or you will lose them.

yeah i've been through that- had a first season coat with really nice military crest buttons- about 3 fell off- so i emailed cloak and they sent me buttons from fall 04 (which didn't match- so i regretfully had to change all the buttons on my coat :P) how much did this retail for? it was being sold in japan- so i think it went for higher than it should have (cloak is really expensive since its an import brand) heavy would be good- heavy enough to get through a nyc winter? (i think michgan's winters are a bit more harsh..)

          It
was cotton, so not heavy enough for a winter, although fully lines and
IIRC slightly padded. I believe retail at the time was
$950. Remember though, this was then. It would probably
cost $1500 with Cloak lining their price up with the biggies.

Yeah, it's warm (heavy canvas with polyesther fill), but not enough for
actual winter. I have the asymmetric coat from the same collection, and
Montreal winters are a bit too cold for it (unless I layer it up with a
            sweater or something).
