    Yes or No?

I thought a thread like this would be useful to ask opinions on prospective purchases.

I came across these cufflinks, and I love them, but there is no way to discern if they are a genuine Dries van Noten product. Now, I know the seller deals with a lot of genuine Dries, I've bought from them myself, but I still wonder as to their authenticity. Has anyone seen these anywhere and can confirm if it's a genuine Dries product?

i probably wouldn't doubt that seller. although i'm not a fan of the cufflinks really. looks like a pebble (or a rolled up ball of tinfoil) and a ball of lint to me.

if i wore french cuffs on somewhat of a regular basis i'd buy the shaun leane horn cufflinks.. those are crazy.

And crazy expensive! I think these would look great on a black shirt. Two balls of lint, that's true, lol. I like the texture of the "silver" part, too.

Looks too much like a toned down version of those hideous guatemalan bags proto-hippies wear + they keys made it into a gimmick.

Faust, I love those cufflinks--have been eyeing them myself, for the BF. The textures are lovely.

I do trust that seller completely, but her shipping charges make me reluctant...

                  Thanks!
So, I showed them to my wife, and she bought them for me.
Sweet! Yea, shipping charges are usually high (although there was
a $10 option to the US), but I've negotiated with them before for free
                  shipping with buy it now.

Coldrice, I think if you dye the bag black so the keys don't stand out, it could work.

I was thinking about getting this shirt too. I am having a white shirt fever lately....I would wear it without a bowtie though.

i like the bluish-grey better. the contrast on the black/grey/white is a bit loud for my tastes... but i'm not sure how you dress, so go with your instinct.

I like the loud one -- it's quite traditionally structured and I think the high contrast gives a bit more edge

The black would look better with your hair.
