    A.F. Vandevorst SS07 - Womens, Paris

Best collection out of Paris that I have seen so far (although there is much to go). I liked it - very light, very simple and wearable, and beautiful. I love the contrast of light clothes and black accessories (I'm sure Ann will forgive them the feather), although their obsession with nuns/nurses/Joan of Arc types is beginning to become a bit stale. I like the drapey but not baggy silhouette too.

Out of the non-Japanese designers showing their collection at Paris,
this was one of my favorites as well. It is strongly feminine
without being too cutsy as some lines fall into. I think you
posted some of the best looks. I wasn't too big of a fan of the
royal blue pieces towards the end of the show.

Nice selections, Faust! I absolutely love that first dress with the hood-type thing, I would wear it in a heartbeat.

My only real criticism is that I wish they would lay off the lace and the lingerie-inspired stuff....it almost looks tacky to me.

...I mean the ephemeral, the fugitive, the contingent, the half of art whose other half is the eternal and the immutable.
