Keychains

Since many of us wear rather skinny pants, do any of you wear your keys on a belt loop? My brother always does this, it doesn't look bad but I've avoided it because it just seemed too janitor or hipster to me. However, I couldn't resist ordering this when it popped up on yoox:

This one is too cool (and expensive) to put in my pocket, so I'm going to try it out, maybe I'll just put a few essential keys on it so it doesn't get too bulky. What do you guys think? Feel free to post other cool keychains.

(ps anyone know what season this one is from? i know luster had charms like this on belts, but maybe they continued it for awhile)

It was $130, it was one of those times when I just happened to look at yoox late at night and saw some new stuff so I ordered it right away because I figured it would be gone by morning.

i love it, i usually have my keys dangling out of my back pocket. i've
never really worn it "janitor style" but idont see why that would be a
        problem

My Helmut Lang waxed string keychain. Sorry for the bad picture quality. Digicams are garbage.

No one else has cool keychains they want to share?

That one is great Faust, did you get it from yoox? I remember watching it awhile back. Helmut Lang did some great ones like these, I like how they really added to the outfits and the fisherman theme.

No, my wife gave it to me as a New Year's present three years ago - she bought it at the late Helmut Lang boutique. Helmut has done some awesome ones in his career. I kick myself for not copying every image from his late website.

Is that by N(N)? I like N(N) skulls best. And just because the item happens to be trendy, it doesn't mean that you should hate it. Raf Simons has been doing skull chains since day one - just because the trend caught up to him, should he abandon that?

Don't know nearly enough about N(N) to know about the crying heart, but glad to learn [Y] All I know is that their prices are f-ing retarded (see today's prices thread).

haha the price points aren't all too bad in japan - i think about 40% off of what the prices are like in nyc.

They better be. $780 for a pair of pants? WTF? Still angry, lol. N(N) is well made, but it's nothing oustanding. Even Yohji Yamomoto is cheaper.

                            I rather this like this:

Yeah, as overdone as they've become these days I think a decent skull piece can add something interesting to a really clean outfit (or, conversely, totally ruin it). I think this would be a great accessorry for a not all-black, clean, look. Of course, $400 for a keychain? Nah.

This is from Barney's men's accessorries section, also have the keychain Cold Rice picked up.

What can I say? Skulls, still kind of dig 'em.
