C. Neeon - F/W 2006 & S/S 2007

Well, after grabbing two hoodies from the fall line, I must say that I have become really enamored with the label and just love the bold and bright prints they use and the color coordinating they experiment with. It's really a breath a fresh air against a lot of the dark, gothic looks and labels that tend to get thrown around here. I especiallylike their play with volume and the street sensibilities they add to the collections to give it a different edge.

I'm definitely starting to warm up to the label, I love the patterns. As for the colours, that may take abit longer ;)

I don't like it. I thought I would, but after seeing their clothes in person, I have to say that they're nothing exceptional, mostly falshy patterns and colors, which I'm not a fan of to start with, Their cuts aren't anything exceptional in my opinion and the fabrics they use don't command the prices they're asking for. Can't like everything...

That said, I really like the color on the F/W blue baggy pants.

I like it. Some of it reminds me of a more whacked out Proenza Schuler.

The cuts are a little too shapeless for me. At the moment, form is much more important than anything else, so even if I found the patterns more interesting (although I do like the colors) I still probably wouldn't care much for this. This brand seemed like something that would grown on me, but so far it's done rather the opposite, save a couple of pieces. I like the ones with the knitted-ropes stretching across the neck for whatever reason, although again, it's a little shapeless.
