    Dior Haute Couture SS07

Beautiful clothes, but Galliano doing Madame Butterfly <edit> went back to read the review, it is Madame Butterfly</edit>? BTDT, too many times. I want something fresh, dammit. Someone should throw all that money at McQueen instead, I think his ideas have wider scope.

The large "woven" look of the brown dress is amazing! Hmm... something to think about!

..and that's a hell of a lot of paper butterflies that rained down! Those alone must have cost insane amounts!

I wonder why it wasn't a real "show" this season. Galliano always seemed to do something amazing!

i'm not sure why, but i really like the depth of field in this collection...a keen sense of structure taken into 3 dimensions?

also the theatrics (gimmicks, say some people i know [:P]) are, you must admit, fascinating. no matter how cheesy i keep telling myself fireworks are, when there's a show i'm always standing there gaping like an idiot...
