It's very Vincent Gallo, no? Kind of dirty....

Yeah, it's like anti hero isn't it. I never understand this specific way of presentation. Put the clothes on young and cute models andthey might look like italian fashion, esp. the old fur coat:-P

        But I like the trousers:-)

hahahaha, that's exactly what I thought - Gallo after a night of debauchery. Disgusting.

Very Vincent Gallo - the model in the second picture with the blue jacket even looks a little like him!

Not a big fan of the styling - but I'm sure the individual pieces will be nice enough.

let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

Ugh, Margiela needs to stop doing this kind of styling, I got herpes just looking at this. [:S]

Yea, I wasn't much for the styling before but after seeing some of the pieces on thier own, I quite like it. I really like the inclusion of the browns, something that is currently missing in my own wardrobe at the moment.

I think browns are a natural transition. I've done it to supplement the blacks (navy too).

Me too and what's funny is that traditional menswear rule prohibit mixing black with either brown or navy. BTW brown is probably one of the colour Margiela uses the most...

The individual pieces are quite nice indeed. I'm drawn to that classic trench.

And agreed about the color brown (but somehow I can't see myself doing navy!)

Really? I've never run into a problem with navy, but that might be because I only wear three colors (black, white, and shades of blue). I love a stark white with navy.

im a huge margiela fan but the models AND the clothes were awful.

maybe it was just the models, but man, i couldnt even finish looking at the collection.

his menswear was never that great anyway and his last 5 years or so has been pretty weak altogether.

                              this was flat out horrible.

                              i like late 90s -2001 margiela.
