    Undercover Womenswear FW07 Paris

I have been waiting for this show all season. What a disappointment.Am iwrong in saying that Jun has lost all his edginessin the past two seasons. The only way i can tell this is a Undercover collection isby looking at some of therolled up edgeson the fabrics and the Brain bag, which by the way should be the must have accessory for the coming F/W.

Besides the bag, the only good thing i have to say is that he is being creative in this use of fabrics. I guess the point of the show is the use of winter fabrics in summer looks.

I like this look with theblack jacket and the two closing feather pieces are interesting, though i think McQueen has done that already.

    Jun's still super cool though...

Personally this is the biggest disappointment of the season so far. After Jun's suprisingly horrible last season I allowed myself to think that it was just a one off 'lapse'. But this is just plainly derivative of Miu Miu/Prada and in a bad way. Even the more interesting things like the brain bags look rather contrived.

What's going on. Where is the Jun we know and love? (I liked his long hair better too btw, haha) Is he trying to gain a wider following in the US or Europe or something?

let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

It's pretty yawn - but for me he's never made it in the first place (> then n(n) though).

I took a look at the complete collection. Some of it is cute. I think it's what Imitation of Christ wanted to do (that is if Tara wanted to do anything besides being an indie celebrity), but couldn't execute properly. It's girly, young, a bit amaturish, but well done. Undercover quality remains suspect though.

i think this collection looks really great. seems similar to the jil sander collection, but with more character and attitude. the lines are very clean, the cuts are flattering, and details are nicely done.

Out of everything, I just love that brain bag! Totally like nothing I have ever seen before.

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but does anyone know where I can find photos of the fw07 men's collection? Thanks in advance.
