    Clothes you don't "get."

I want to discuss what items you don't find appealing in any way, shape, or form, as well as the defenses from those who do find them appealing.

Corduroy suits (one of things I could never understand, but have seen from Helmut Lang, Jil Sander, Costume National)

    Denim shirts

    Designer sneakers[83]

For about 15 years i did not get jeans. i just didn't understand why people everywhere, all the time wanted to wear them. i wanted to look different. finally, i broke down and bought a pair of helmut lang. for six months people didn't let me hear the end of it. i really did look like another person. now i've discovered number nine skinny jeans and the world is a better place.

One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.

How do you define "designer sneakers"?

^ And racing jackets sporting different company' patches. I refuse to be a walking billboard for anyone. It's bad enough that jeans have the leather patch at the waist. All those patches are nauseating. I'm even finding myself hating back pockets which have become a means to brand recognition.

Cuban heels, I just don't get the appeal. Not even remotely.

Flip flops, unless one has really beautiful feet, which really isn't the case for 99.9% of those who wear them. I find that indecent.
