I actually think that Spain will win this year, they have a great team and played some great matches. Turkey might be the team that will suprise :)

Feel like a traitor to my fellow "shogun" that I have to say this, but I think my beloved Netherlands will not survive this pool of destruction...

Personally I hope - like 4 years ago when Greece miraculouslywon - that an underdog like Czech Republic or Croatia will blast thecompetition to oblivion and grab that title...

Both teams are certainly capable of that!

Portugal seems very strong this time, but I'm with Spain.

edit- V agree with you jj, Spain always manages to screw things up but I'm with them since thats were both of my families come from, I think Villa and Torres can do some damage as forwards. I think your predictions are good, Croatia will be the surprise of the tournament imo

I think that Spain willbe eliminated traditionally at the early stage though Ilike them.Weak/unreliabledefence, unbalanced midfield, strange coach.. that's all about current Spainnational team.

My forecast for semi-final is: Portugal, Croatia, Italy, Netherlands

/\ @ Diego - Both have a tendency to fold in the international games though, despite looking great on paper (just like that certain other team that did not qualify, starts with E, ends with D). I think Ze Germans will win, but I would not be surprised if Czech Republic or Croatia pulls off a miracle, as Divo says.
