Helmut went to the ocean to gather his thoughts. Inspiration comes from retreat.

I agree! I'm sure there would be interested parties Asho!

Ironman, eventually my work will be available for sale... right now I'm still working on making one of each piece. When a long sleeve shirt takes me a whole day, production is gonna be a little bit slow at least for now ;)

good to hear! we're all patiently waiting i haven't seen much of your stuff, but i definitely look forward to it

i think it'd be great to have a designer on here that we can make direct suggestions and give feedback to. also, i know you don't have a lot of time on your hands(you're a med student, right?) but i think offering custom pieces would be awesome too

Yessir, med student (currently in the library actually hahaha).

My long-term goal is to finish the collection (pants are next), present it here and on a separate site just for it and then see where it goes from there. The most difficult part was pattern construction and reworking. Now that that is done, it's a LOT easier to adjust it for different sizes. One of the shirts (the one that required the walking foot) I have SIX complete studies of it before I got to my current completed version that I'll finish tonight. Maintaining patience gets hard real quick

Asho, sorry to hijack your thread my man.

I can't wait to see more of what you've created!!!

Looks really good, only change would be to make the strap more interesting, maybe add a little silver :P or make it like a dubble strap.

Hmm my dad is also a doctor, and he too loves to play with leather and weird stuff. Made some shafts for his knifes (as well as actuall knifes, and some ships in bottles... yep weird guy. ;))

the strap took about 5 minutes to make. Would have done something more substantial but was short on time and just wanted to finish. Eventually I'll replace it with some black leather laces or a thicker piece of leather... Thanks for the feedback
