my ex girlfriends dog peed on a pair of my boots

i had just purchased them. well, i was able to wear them once.

but anyway - i didn't protect them in any way before this happened and i have been unable to remove the urine stain. plan c is distressing the boots by way of sandpaper in order to hide the stain. before i get started though i'd like to ask for opinions. i have never done this before and it sort of worries me. any suggestions?

This is pretty helpful in the way of antiquing and distressing.

So, we had an 'Italian Street Fair' this weekend here in Richmond and the shop asked me to go and do some of my antiquing work at the fair. Not exactly used to people observing and asking questions as I work, but here are a couple of shoes I was doing this weekend....not finished, and alot of...

However I have no suggestions for how to remove the stain, just how you could cover it up.

no, she is my ex girlfriend because she refused to do anything about it and all she had to say was "your clothes are too expensive anyway"

i am still not entirely clear what the expense of my things has to do with her dog peeing on them.

Her dog clearly just had bad taste.

Brush them with a suede brush, wipe them with a vinegar-damp cloth... I've gotten indigo staining out of grey suede. I'm sure urine isn't a huge difficulty.

I once dyed my shoes when there was a stain on them with a so-called stain-removal stick, which doesn't actually remove the stain but just dyes the material or where ever u choose to rub it on

                    what a thread.

just out of interest what could she have done about it to save the relationship?

i was hoping that the title would have read:

my ex girlfriend peed on a pair of my boots
Did you get and like the larger dick?

it had more to do with the lack of respect she had for anything that wasnt hers than her dog peeing on my boots. it was just the last straw.
