Designer Locations

I'm a NY based design school student moving abroad to Milan for my senior year and I was wondering if any of you knew of any sz-esque designers or brands with their design offices based in or around Milan... I ask because I have to do my senior internship there and I'd like to have a fall back encase CCP just laughs in my face when I show up on his doorstep begging to work for him... for free. :/

On a related note maybe we could start making a list of the cities where Designers are actually based rather than just where they show etc..? Just an idea but I think it could be interesting!

Yeah, I thought that might be the case... Anyone know just how big the CCP staff is? Also is the workshop in Milan or just the showroom (or are they one and the same?)

If I remember correctly, the staff is quite small, and very tight knit.

Yup, very small. Also would be a plus if you speak Italian...but I'm not so sure they're the kind of place that necessarily takes on interns.

I'm working on my Italian, and I have a little German under my belt too (but I could definitely stand to undergo a nice refresher course before trying to undergo any lengthy conversations.....) :)
