I'm not sure if we have any proper architecture threads, the one I recall is more focused on interiors..

actually I just wanted to post this picture somewhere:

whoops, its Notre-Dame de Royan, designed by Guillaume Gillet sometime in the 50's.

Personally loathe the church as I personally prefer ancient works to this monstrocity which ruins the landscape. While turning to God, who wants to get a feeling of a post-apocalyptic world where there's no hope left?

Amazing how the first picture of the roof of the villa gives the impression of guidance into suicide, surrendering to the eternal sea.

its ugly as hell, but imo very impressive nonetheless.

The infamous "Haus am Horn" constructed by Walter Gropius and his BAUHAUS movement. Buildings were never built, this is just for exhibition's sake. The building should educate its inhabitant to a peaceful and tranquil individual.

Doesn't look too exciting from the outside but I'm still looking for a floor plan pic that shows the whole background of that time's architectural megalomania..

Of course this here shouldn't be absent either

                    Villa Savoye by Le corbusier

The jewish museum in Berlin is also very astonishing but couldn't find any good pictures.. perhaps someone else can help out

+1 on the jewish museum.. its meant to give one the feeling of hopelessness and torment, especially the room with differently angled walls going straight up and then narrowing at the top, with only a tiny air/light vent far far above.

can't find photos of it, but got something else..
