    painting shirts

we use ink mostly and acrylic mixed with a textile medium
    any feedback appreciated.
also, the ink fades a bit in the wash, any ideas? I haven't a clue.

Looks ok. If you want more stable results, could try screen printing. But if it's the feature of your tees - to be painted by hand - try fabric paints. Although they're a bit hard to mix.

is there maybe a waterproof spray that you can apply on to fabrics for it? possibly at an art store?

I've painted shirts and jackets with acrylic paints before. The paint holds up even after a few washes, in my experience. Here's a cheap H&M jacket I painted a few years ago:

thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated :)
It isn't the acrylic I'm having trouble with, it's the ink.
The eyeball shirt was coloured using ink and is now a slight pink colour, and the image has faded noticeably.
edit: also the pics were taken before going through the wash. I'm unable to put up post-wash pics due to a broken camera

GoSurface - beautiful work on that jacket!!!

I used to silkscreen with Acrylic ink but the quality depends on the brand and color. I had pretty good success with BASiC brand when it's dark on light colored shirts.
