    Hi all,

I have set out to create the perfect oxford shirt. Would anyone have any design and pattern ideas they would wanna share?

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. Any insight on what makes the cut better than the other oxfords? Appreciate it.

Love my Thom Browne ones too, but I know he doesn't make them himself.

You may be right, he probably doesnt make the shirts but I hope that the pattern is his though.

Pics would help me out a lot. Thanks

from what i know, which isn't much, but he uses reputable tailors to make most of the suits (NYC and Chicago). for shirts, i've read that he's used gitman to produce them? i'm sure he makes his own patterns though.
Did you get and like the larger dick?

I guess I don't quite "get" your goal. Oxford shirts are oxford shirts and every cut will be different because it caters to a different target audience. There is no such thing as the "perfect" garment just like there is no panacea in medicine.

So you're out to make your own version of the oxford shirt? What do you plan to do differently that will make it that much nicer than the hundreds of purveyors of the shirt that are already out there?

I'm not trying to come across as hostile more just questioning the goal and motive because of your short intro. A deeper explanation may clear things up.

Hi Chinorlz, it is actually my first time to create a cut and sew garment so in terms of goals and motives, the goal as of the moment is to create something simple yet comfortable and wearable. I dont think it gets any deeper than that for now.

I know there are crazy amounts of oxfords out there and I still have to think about what will make mine different in terms of cuts and sizing. All I know is that I love wearing them and would appreciate it if I can get any input from you guys.
