    "refresh" waxed jeans?

    Hey!
Im not sure if this is the right section for this thread, but I try it.

I got a Balmain jeans with waxed details, and the details getting little bit fewer.
How could I "refresh" the waxed details?

    Since June 2008. No way.

edit: But to answer your question, there is probably no way of getting it back to original. Wax is sadly a temporary effect.

the disintegration is part of those jeans' appeal. Even if you'd be able to refresh them, you're fucking up big time by doing so.

I'm sure he doesn't want to stop the disintegration just a getting more wax back on there because that shit looks cool.. does anyone know how to do it? I would re-up some wax on some of my jeans as well....

Yeah I second that Fade to Black when a whole pants is waxed.

But at mine stress the wax the details of the pants. So I would like to refresh the stressed details, u know. Is there no chance to do this somehow?

Why not just do this to some of the areas?

Funny how it's a SZ member who wrote it too.
Looks good though, I think I'll try it out.

I just noticed that my tutorial was used as reference. :) Anyways, if your jeans have not lost color, just the waxed coat, you can try the glossy clear acrylic mix called "Gel Medium Soft Gel" on your jeans. If they have also lost the color, then add the colored acrylic paint like I did in my tutorial. Good luck!

Do you think this treatment would work on cotton or spandex leggings? Or does it require the stiffness of denim?

                              denim is ok I guess,
but cotton or spandex..hmm..no no..this treatment will eventually make the cotton lose its stretching quality. therefore flux said remember to paint only the denim which is a size bigger than its supposed to. and if you force it to stretch, the waxed treatment will just crack. however, I paint the cotton laid flat. maybe..(MAYBE) if you can stretch it while you paint over it. maybe it can work. eg, paint it while worn?
