I love Yohji's models this season. There is a great variety yet each of them seem to have their own unique (dare I say) soul. I think the styling over all would have been better with a different shoe choice. The (Adidas?) sneakers cheapen the looks.

But to begin to analyze particularly looks:
I think this jacket is incredible with the asymmetry and the contrasted-buttons:

I can also see someone easily pulling off one of those patchwork jackets and being sent to the HOF tout suite.

The shapes are classic Yohji.. casual but authoritative (felt like an oil tycoon). This was great and worked so well with the model.

Yohji and Adidas, what can you do? Gotta say I never even gave Y-3 a second look until my recent quest for gym gear (that isn't as expensive as rick) and some of the silhouettes on the Y-3 cropped pants are pretty Yohji. This show is pretty great, will have to give it a more thorough look when I'm not supposed to be in a meeting...

                This coat/picture hurts my brain.

^ MC Esher would be proud!

wire.artist, good to know that nagging feeling of self-referencing wasn't just me desperately looking for patterns. Also liked that he opened and closed (himself) the show with suits with double breast pockets on the jacket - classic Yohji jacket.

I love that. Will come back and elaborate later today.
I can see a hat, I can see a cat,
I can see a man with a baseball bat.

Beautiful show. Seems to be a celebration of general Yohji-ness but with a freshness that keeps it from being just rehash.
Love the long flecked overcoat looks. (Looks 7 and 4)
The extra inner belts on some of the coats blazers is a detail I love. (Looks 26, 4, 17 and 2)
The fresco/hologram coats at shows-end are also great show-pieces...

the patchworks seem to be print, which is nice. i don't like the vintage porn prints at all.

it is cool that he showed the three similar outfits (with red coat) in three different models.

the collection doesnt give me "fresh" feeling but i guess it is all about yy.

This show is my current Paris highlight (still don't get the RO show even if I'm the only one). By just looking at the pictures you get a sense for the flow, the motion... Not a fan of the return of the doves though, but love the other prints -- and especially the knits.

                            This one is great:
