a friend sent me a link to a video clip and was like " dude this is creeeeaaazy ! " so im like hmm ok lemme see , thought maybe was some good porn . looked like some bs news crap about iraq but i left it playin while i was surfin the net , then i hrd some weird shit and clicked the vid and cos i wasnt rly payin much atn to it i couldnt tell what in the hale was goin on until a few more seconds passed and i realized wtf it was , they were cuttin this guys fuckin head off . ohhh fuck i wish to god i neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr saw this . i yelled at my friend like u fuckin ass whyd u send me that i hate shit like that hes like dam sorry but now i feel scarred for life , shits buggin me all goddam nite and idk why

it's buggin u because death is seriously scary stuff and not something we are used to experiencing firsthand anymore. sorry u had to see that. i saw that gunship video from iraq again on the news the other day - u know, the one where they gun down two cameramen and a van with kids in it. kinda makes u want to be able to rinse ur brain clean...

It's interesting to me how there seems to a distinct difference between the idealized model of violence portrayed in the popular media and real violence. We've become so desensitized to the broader concept of violence and there's always been this vague, macabre fascination with it in popular culture. However, when one is exposed to actual violence, even through video, I'd say most people are taken aback or made at least somewhat uncomfortable.How do you guys like the fit of my new CCP suit?Comment
