I'm down for this to be a snowboarding thread too.

I skated a bit in my teens, was never really that good. Had some street flip-tricks and such but couldn't really do vert or anything like that.

Snowboarded since I was 7, and I always loved it. Hopefully I'll be able to get up to the mountain a couple times around christmas as I'm not able to snowboard in NYC of course. Kind of trying to sell my Capita Stairmaster - I just don't have enough use for it anymore.

^Plasmo, check out some other board manufacturers besides Burton. Burton boards are super expensive; I've from VT and grew up going to the burton factory a ton and riding burton boards but when my Uninc got stolen I switched to a capita because it was much cheaper and never turned back. Plus, now that the Burton boards aren't even being made in US anymore I'd rather support some smaller companies.

Been out west a couple times (Whistler x2, Copper and Vail once); other than that I've grown up on the ice of the east coast mountains :P

burton bindings, wouldn't rock much else.

Had the technine tm1 mfm's where 1 binding was black, one was red. those were sexy as hell though. they were on the uninc that got stolen :( :(.

Daewon's Berrics part. Crazy shit. Link probably won't last long.

Daewon has always and probably will always be pretty much unfuckable when it comes to technique.
I really do like his style but somehow have always admired the hardcore guys more.
Jamie Thomas and the Zero boys for example.
            Crazy video though!

Rodney Mullen vs Daewon Song. Rodney Mullen almost singlehandedly invented modern street skating – respect!

I think cease and desist skateboards may have been recently releasing a Natas graphic re-issue, but I haven't seen it.

I think he does art now?

some fantastic art and design came out of skateboarding, I love 90's, remember and old Osiris VHS, probably watched it a 100 times and later recorded my favourite songs onto minidisc.....

I bought Deformer by Ed Templeton a while ago - wonderful book, beautiful images.

Natas doesn't work for Quicksilver anymore. He left about 2 months ago. He does Designarium as a side project and he still does artwork. I think he's taking a break to do nothing but surf right now.

One of the nicest guys in skateboarding and a really talented artist.

Sounds like a nice life. I didn't know Designarium was still going on. I haven't seen one of those boards since the year they started. I've got a Thomas Campbell Designarium up on my wall. Love that dude too.

See if this rings any bells.
