Say what you want about it being past, but there is still a need for the type of clothing cloak did in the market...........
outside of Hedi at Dior, the was no better Menswear Brand in terms of Aesthetic and quality than Cloak.......
while I dont think he will, even if Plokhov did exactly what Cloak was in Its heyday it still would be great for now.

as someone who is a sucker for construction, when I look at some of the way the clothing was constructed, you could see that they didn't compromise, matter of fact in some ways it was better than Dior, and even better than some of the revered Masters of quality that we regard now.
I am all for its revival, a brand like this should never have died in the first place, I just hope the investment is there to build on its short but impressive legacy that exist.............
“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”
    .................................................. .......................

I still dress like this sometimes, and don't really see anything wrong with it.

There's nothing wrong with it! I'm just saying it no longer really dominates men's fashion like it once did.

been seldomly checking versace runway and couldnt help but notice plokhov rehashing his cloak design details. i wonder how the existing patrons of the brand received his influence.

SZ got a preview of the line today. I was impressed - you can see the progression from Cloak to this line. There is more tailoring, it's more grown up, but it's distinctly Alexandre's. I will write a short review and we will have images from the new line on Monday.

Place the ENSURE survival drinks for the elderly in neat rows in the fridge, stack the protein bars, I'm gonna be wearing Plokhov in 2011.

Also, anyone with tiny Cloak circa FW 2004, pray do tell via PM.
