Yea, I thought the gilt interview was surprisingly good. So when is the actual presentation?

I agree, although I feel weird admitting that about Gilt as well.

    the presentation starts today.

Lowrey and I were the first to see the Paris presentation, so if you beg Lowrey enough, he will post pictures :-)

    Pleaaaase?

And hold on...I am uderstabding correctly that no suits? Or maybe could still put one together from separates?

i could imagine that suits may not be the most profitable thing when you're just getting a line started or perhaps he just knows from the past that his general market isn't big on suits right now. regardless, it sucks because cloak suits are perfect for me and he could do an amazing job with nothing but just suits. i recall he made a badass tuxedo suit for carrie bradshaw in that one documentary.

The man seems so genuinely enthralled with all aspects of production and getting his garments perfect

I was always wondering what made him shut the label, as rumours always run rampant. But I never would have thought it was due to being overworked.

Good on him for jumping ship instead of mindlessly producing garments and riding out the name to bank money. I am looking forward to seeing some pics

Can very easily be put together from separates, and there will be one made-to-measure suit.

hints of plokhov's fw05 and ss07 collections here, but overall leaves me feeling a bit underwhelmed to be honest.

of course, i'll reserve judgement till i see the full collection (and hopefully the clothes in person).

    any word on stockists?

Love that he used Reich's violin phase for the video. Will someone who can contact him please ask if I can do his music in the future, seriously . The clothes look nice, I can see his signature sharp tailoring, but it's a bit sleeker and less old world than cloak (which I miss a little). Overall some beautiful desirable stuff but I wonder if this is all or another sneak peak at a part of the collection?

I remember stumbling upon Reich's Violin Phase
in a dance piece Fase: Four movements to the
    Music of Steve Reich(1982)
    by belgian choreographer
    Anne Teresa De keersmaeker.
Such a beautiful piece of music.

I'm very much looking forward to Lowrey's photography.

Oh man I watched on my laptop with no sound at first, this just takes it to a whole 'nother level for me, as Reich is one of my favorite artists of the century. Casem what kind of music do you make, hit me up on PM so as not to derail the thread?

In that gq write up he discusses how hes picking up from where he left with cloak ss07 so it prolly wont be fw04 as everyone was hoping.

Hope he goes back to his goth classical style after few seasons when he realizes geller is basically doing the "modern" take on cloak and completely failing those that have been faithfully praying for the return of fw04.

I cringed when i read that gq interview hov said his new offerings will be relatvely lighter compared to cloak

agreed. superb shots, but can't get a good idea of the aesthetic. unfortunately, clarity sometimes makes for boring photography.
