    Giuliano Fujiwara FW11

I think this is pretty great, the hanging pocket things remind me a bit of Helmut Lang. Images from the Fashionisto.

its decent . ive got some friends who went crazy over this line based on the past 2 or 3 collections and i can see why it would appeal to the old raf customers but this collection is just kinda boring imo . dont like the shoes at all
it just feels like .. stale idk .

edit : thx for the pix btw

I can see the appeal and quite like it. a controlled quirky approach to fairly classic menswear, I like the emphasis on the small details, some nice work on the double collars and the proportions are really smart. reminds me a little of Siki Im.

oversized shoes = little preppy boy goes fancy dress.
Only works if you are a little preppy boy.

Looks flat. Nice skinny trousers though, they look good sans the shoes.

It is solid, but like others said, nothing exciting. But I could see it working for you, Casey - seems to fit well with your personal style.

there is a lot to like about this collection. that quirky tailored preppy thing works well for some. but for sure this is my nominee for ugliest shoes. it would be hard to make an uglier shoe. it would take some effort.

fujiwara has never really been on my radar, but this is pretty dope.
nothing new or groundbreaking, but quite solid. you can really see a lot of other designers' influences on this collection as well - some modern raf simons, balenciaga, etc... i love how the pants fit perfect, but the models legs' are so damn thin, i'm skinny myself, but imagine those pants would be uncomfortably tight!

the stuff is really nice and clean in finish. stiff leather jackets and those stiff hip pockets are quite interesting. lots of sharp top stitching. fun to look at up close.

The hanging pocket thing IS Helmut Lang.

                          really love the layering/hanging pockets.
an interesting take on the skirt/kilt layering that designers have been playing with for a fair few seasons....kind of a functional take on the trend.

Looks like it was shot in a municipal gallery, on gallery attendants.

Some of the trousers are cut so badly, they would give a snake a spare tyre.

                            Just a bit depressing.
