i have to say rick's footwear for FW11 is badass. at first i wasn't a huge fan, but the spiral zip and front zip boots (ala shucks and damage X recent fit pics) have really grown on me. i could never pull them off, but a nice variation on his crepesole/zips from previous collections.

I bought the saddle sneakers.

Are we supposed to wear them with the side zipper half opened cause there is no way I could make them fit on my calves or is it just me

Not sure what the saddle sneakers are, but I was told at RO that the spiral zips are so tight around the calves few people really fit them... I will give it a try tomorrow.
Also bought the cashmere shorts. Material is out of this worid. Blazer next, then liner. Then bury me in this:

I agree, the cashmere shorts are the best! The spiral zips are quite tight but mine are breaking in rather quick.

The one problem I had and maybe it's because my legs aren't long enough is they cut into the flesh above the knee at the back, so I had to unzip it a few inches at first. After a few wears, that has minimized though. Hopefully it will go away with enough use.

im 6'1 and the tall spiral boots cover about 2/3 of my knee cap.

On a size 41, they are 21.5 Inches or 54.5 CM from the bottom of the heel to the top.
