I think this is excellent, but I am loving the individual pieces more than the complete looks. I much prefer this dark side of Dries to the floral/ethnic side that has been more prevalent in the women's collections recently. And the all black boots look perfect.

the experiments with asymmetrically texture lapels failed, but props to him for having the guts to fail audaciously. the double breasted jackets in a boxy and strict shape paired with voluminous trousers is the essence of this collection in its unassuming and effortless simplicity; dialed down but grand in its own way.

I like this much more than his previous few collections.
The play with the layered lapels/collars actually works quite well on the trench coats but not so much on the more structured pieces IMO.
I really love this look, it's just so effortless

Hmm. Not my favorite show from Dries to say the least.
The usually high level of refinement, subtlety and detail is just not here. He usually has a nice way of demonstrating how to wear it on the runway (Most recently, for me, in his Fall 2010 show.), but the styling does little to make the pieces any more desirable than they would be just sitting on a table.. I find myself trying too hard to like it. Plenty of good things I could point out, but nahh, I'll just leave it at that.

I like the regal feel and rich dark color palette. Also love the contrasting use of white and some of the pants look cool. The fur is a nice detail, but maybe could have been incorporated better on to the lapel so it doesn't look so much like it was glued on. Overall though, an excellent collection with lots of beautiful wearable clothes (unlike Kunk, I find myself more and more drawn to practical things lately...)
