Not sure if "lifted" is the right term - wasn't this from the "Dadaists go to French Riviera" collection?

Dis told me it's from SS07, which I would say makes sense thematically.

If I remember correctly it's from the SS07 collection (a year before the DADA collection). I remember seeing them at the Tokyo shop and I believe it was at the same time as the hand print shirts and skull necklaces. I didn't see it in either of the runway collection photos I have.

For MBD re Junya - the last item you posted is from AW08/09. The "AD" on the CDG labels refers to the year of manufacture.

Thanks Johnny, somehow I knew that, but was going the lazy route. (My pieces from AW 06 say AD 2005 and AD 2007, for example.) I'm putting up a yohji "milkmaid" cloche about which I know nothing - and the manufacturer's tag has faded. I could certainly use information identifying the piece!

I thought this was a good point - though it might be too much to expect of people, we could at least aspire towards it

I agree with the both of you. In my experience, policy and guidelines are important frameworks but without technical enforcement, are ultimately meant to be broken. One solution that might help with consistency is a web form with drop down selections and in this manner the known information submitted can follow a set of standards defined. For example, "M.A+" is often a misinterpreted query with search functions so to enable consistent results for this label, "Maurizio Amadei" should be appended to the designer in every case.

Anywho, I suppose the value for this development is yet to be determined.

/\ Yes, we were going to implement that, but I suck at it and am impatient. Hopefully our web guru can fix my ineptitude.

everyone, please put more effort into your photos. if they are not coming out well, it's not worth posting them.

    Second.

And, yes, docus, that includes you. You can delete them yourself - I am sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but they are bad pictures.

Thank you, kard. Enjoying it immensely today (freezing weather and all).

I deleted some posts with subpar photography. Please don't take it personally and let's try for better photos. Thank you.
