It cracks me up how civil fashion journalism is because of the fear of being uninvited to shows. Criticism is always so subtle, back-handed or between the lines, Tim Blanks is really the master of this.
If I saw this completely out of context, I might think it's an up and coming student designer with some potential talent. But given the huge amount of hype, names and money that have gone into this it's total crap. Isn't that how commercial culture works though, most of the product's value is in the hype while the product itself is almost immaterial.
