i was like "weed LOL" first until i saw the kanji amd the koi. then i thought "japanese red maple" but then i saw the astronaut and thought "weeeeeed LOL". sender intent vs receiver interpretation is a classic issue in communication. there is always noise and how something like this is interpreted depends on your own background, among other things.

It doesn't. I'm saying that iconography can acquire new meaning. At best, Raf is just being coy, because he knows that 90% will say it'd weed.

considering that the background (tatami) the koi, the japanese photographs is all pretty much context clues, im sorry that it's not common where you're from but 100% without a doubt if you ask someone at the Raf Simons flagship (both of them) in Japan and you ask for the weed shirt they will have NO idea what you're talking about.
