I understand they are testing, but how safe are "safe" levels? I think the severity of the incident is being under-reported.

i worked at a tea shop -- imports came with a document measuring radioactivity of two separate markers in ppm.

there was a legal limit of PPM for export -- the imports did not give off ANY at all. was 0

^ if im not mistaken about edwards meaning, a direct translation of "red tea" in chinese = english "black tea" -- just some funny semantic translations. we named it after the color of the leaves, the chinese named it after the color of the liquid.

yep. 紅茶 literally translates to red tea, which is black tea in the English speaking world

A neat little discovery was Kusmi Tea. They're a Parisian brand that specializes in Russian blends. They have a location on the Upper East Side.

I have been really getting into green tea lately. When I first tried it years ago, I hated it. I am a coffee lover at heart. But the coffee was getting too hard on my stomach, and I switched to green tea. Its amazing, and I have been enjoying all the complexities of ways to make tea, etc. Thanks for starting this thread!

^ green tea is really great, my favourite tea. Do you prefer some fruity /herbal flavours or just pure green tea?

I like green puers and sencha, but I'm interested more in traditions and discovering new tastes. I love the feeling after right managed tea ceremony. I was a huge fan of coffee before i first taste 30 year old puer, and i loved that relaxing-metitational condition that it brings, and after that i started discover new thing about China and chinese culture.

                                peace
