    NBA Basketball 2011-2012 Season

So After the disastrous Lockout that has trimmed the season to 66 games, NBA basketball back in Swing

its of games to be watched in lots if nights and lots of interesting things.....

the Dallas mavericks are NBA champs, and Dirk has cemented his legacy as the best foreign payer ever.........Still shocked how the heat lost last seasons finals, but that is history now,

In a way i think it was good for the legacy of Lebron James for the heat to have lost last year. had the head won, wade would have been the finals MVP and after already having won a championship in 2006, it would have seemed LeBron rode Wades coattails to a championship, something that if said would have been grossly inaccurate, but could not be disputed because the record books would have made it seem that way.

it would have also put him in a position to be accused of taking he easy route to winning a championship, with the loss to Dallas, he is mortal again, and will now have the chance of working his way back to immortality.
There is no question, that on talent alone, James is head, shoulders and waistline above every player in the NBA, but somehow, in crucial times he lacks the focus, and composure to establish his legacy among the all time greats......lets see if this year he can do that for himself.

On another note, the greatest player to has stepped on the court since Jordan (though not recognized as such) is in his last season of his current contract, at 35 years old, and no longer the unstoppable force he once was, it is vert possible, that number 21, the great Tim Duncan could hang em up at the end of the season.................Timmy, if you go we will miss you, but you can go , knowing that you have done it all, won everything there is to be won, and not just once, but in term of MVP, you have two, in terms of Championship, you have four, you have made David Robinson into all time greats, have made Parker and Ginobili into future hall of famers.
you have made the San Antonio Spurs on of the most profitable teams in the NBA, and have made them the greatest small market franchise in the history of basketball.......All of this without drawing attention to yourself, without drama, without controversy, but by bringing it every night and beating everyone there is to be beaten,

    More to come
“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”
    .................................................. .......................

we'll pick up knicks discussion here:

carmelo is an iso scorer and needs to buy in to the team/share the ball concept. however, it's a fine line cuz you want him to remain an assassin in crunch time.

saw him in several gamaes during college....Well every time he played against us, he sucked.... never imagined he'd make it to NBA, let alone play this well..... Guess our uni's defense was better than most NBA teams nowadays jk jk.......

He's an really intelligent player, both offensively/defensively......it's really a joy to watch him play, tbh I'm getting a bit tired of all the physique games from Lebron...... Wondering how the hell warriors and rockets let him go......

this is gettin to be a bit scary. this kid just may be the real deal. if the 2 *stars* can learn to play nicely with their new point guard, Knicks should be tuff

im a believer in jeremy lin right now guys. putting up 38 against kobe can never be a fluke, and he outplayed kobe down the stretch , who in the current NBA can claim to have outplayed kobe in the 4th, there is NOBODY. dude has a bright future and when you can combine intellect with basketball , thats the real deal. knicks will be tough to deal with from now on, unless carmelo insists on his offensive movement killing 1 on 1 play .

to get real for a sec, Lin needs to do a better job from the foul line and needs to take better care of the ball ... yeah he's scored the most pts in his first 6 starts but he's also had the most turn overs and his ft shooting has been suspect....but hey, it's exciting, no doubt.

He's still young.....plus he's playing like 40 minutes every match.......

One thing for sure now is that he's totally legit...He doesn't rely on hot hands and pure shootings...He can dribble, draw fouls and is not afraid of physical contacts......I do agree that he still needs to work on his decision making a bit..... Will be curious to see how things turn out when Melo gets back....

^ Word. Still need to keep in mind that he's a rookie and bound to have areas that need polishing. But no matter how you look at it, rookie or not, he's fucking pwning it.

                              he aint a rookie :(
hes in his second year.. remember he played last year on the warriors
but since he hasn't seen playing time like this before, its no suprise he gets alot of turnovers..
