I read this in the morning. I really liked what Pilati had done at YSL,but it seems the daggers where out for him for a while. Will be interesting to see what Hedi brings to the table after his hiatus. As the customer base is very different to that of Dior.

Great news, I can't wait to see Hedi get back into buisness proper. I trust he will get back in the same glory he left

this is fantastic news! i feel like hedi will thrive in this context. of course it won't be the glory days of DH but of course it's exciting news. i am glad raf didnt goto ysl. raf should stick to raf and jil and focus more on honing those brands instead of spreading himself to something new when his current projects have really, in a word, sucked.

My first thought was "is today april the 1st?" ... Holy sh## -- I adore Pilati's work at ysl, in fact I spent most of my euros for his stuff the last couple of seasons... But boy, Hedi... Can't wait! It's about time he gets back. Lovely.

Jil Sander back at Jil Sander is a much more interesting news. I hope Slimane stays away from Rock influences and being some hip gay dude and brings some elaborate designs to the label.
