mortalveneer: I forgot to say thank you for the tip the shoes. I picked up that last pair and they arrived today. So far they've only seen 250 meters of asphalt and nearly put me on my ass when climbing up the stairs to my apartment. But they fit like a glove and look great.

Doubt I will hang mine from a tree.

Shifts, glad to see they got snapped up so quickly. Mine have a pretty aggro pair of wafflestomper soles attached, but I know other participants have left theirs with the straight leather...curious to see how yours develop in Stockholm.

At this point we've got a pair located in Seattle, WA; a pair in Champaign, IL; a pair in Auckland, NZ; a pair in Stockholm, and a pair in Thailand...see below pic for reference

Is anything happening on the tree shoes? From the pic they almost look unchanged. Hopefully there is nothing living in them lol

Very little from what I can tell. I'll be back there in early October and may get a ladder out to see if I can get a closer look at 'em. They certainly are in better condition than the foot shoes...

I just wanted to let you know that I am following this thread every time you post a new updated image of either pair. It's incredibly fascinating and quite an experiment!
