I know I'm kind of late on this, but I used to love Deep Dish and this was a great interview. Particularly liked this:

AS: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on a plane and I’m hungover and I stick my wallet in the seat pocket in front of me, then get off the plane without my wallet. So the thing I really can’t live without and have managed not to lose is my Rick Owens wallet. It has no pockets. Its just a zippered pouch that I can put a lot of stuff in. Its got a chain that straps to my belt. Until I got this Rick Owens wallet I was always losing wallets, so its the perfect piece for me.
because I did exactly that, I lost my Rick Owens wallet on a Megabus, one just like his. And unlike other wallets, this one was irreplaceable, because it's the one that attached to my bucket bag and matched the leather. Whoever found and kept it is an asshole, it only had a license and debit card and like $10 in it. I also lost my Rick lighter necklace on a different occasion, and I think about that every time I light a cigarette. I shouldn't buy accessories.

I randomly started hearing this track coming from my laptop this morning. Turns out it was Roberto Cavalli dropping Tzusing for his SS18 livestream finale on facebook XD .

Just discovered Pan Sonic. Fucking unreal sound design. From Wiki

Some of their equipment is made by third "extra" member Jari Lehtinen. These and other custom made instruments are responsible for creating the sounds typical to Pan Sonic's music. They also use samplers and an MPC2000 sequencer. Pan Sonic are great fans of experimentation and art performances and have done exhibitions and sound installations in museums. They have also made music for Rei Kawakubo's fashion shows.

In a musical form in which sequencing and recording music using computers is standard, the group is known for recording everything live, straight to DAT using home-made and modified synthesizers and effect units.

In the late 1980s, as part of a "sound performance", the duo spent 10 hours in a garage, exposed to low-frequency (13 Hz) noise at 125 decibels. They performed a gig in London's East End from an armoured car using a 5000 watt sound system allegedly "similar" to the type used by the police to disorient rioters.

Sounds like a great late-summer track. Thank you for this one.

Lately I've been listening to this a lot. Some "classy, driving, mid 1990s Detroit school reminiscent Techno set" (Hardwax)

Indeed! More than a decade ago i had the chance to see Pan Sonic versus FM Einheit live (=part of the 'Einstürzende Neubauten') in Munich and that concert was probably the most 'industrial'-techno-live-act i have seen so far as Mufti (FM Einheit) was beating insanely on metal plates with a hammer whilest Pan Sonic performed at their machines.

After a couple of EPs more than a decade ago (adjunct audio, voltage musique, sushitech) and a long pause we're happy to announce the release of our very first album (free d/l) as a continuous-mix called 'Blonk V2'. As it's a fusion of minimal music, (deep) house and idm'ish / glitchy 'techno' you might like it if you like music of Lusine, Frits Wentink, Clark, Pezzner, Ben Hoo, Jin Choi, Berk Offset, Anthony Collins, Tom Trago, Dave Aju or Actress to name a few artists we do feel comfortable with.
Please enjoy and here's a little teaser:
