Today saw Thom Browne, which was a brilliant presentation (even without the theatrics). Full report tomorrow.

Also a friend dragged me to see Public School. I can see why people like it - everything was very wearable and nice. Wearable and nice + hype = good business.

      Finished with Robert Geller.

Tomorrow Tim Coppens and Alexandre Plokhov. Thursday Siki Im.

I don't know half the names on that schedule, so yeah, you could say it's lackluster. But it's also the first season.

On the Geller note, while I've never been a huge fan of his post-Cloak creations, this article was interesting nonetheless (shoutout to SZ too).

I'm excited to see what Plokhov does tomorrow night though as his Helmut money should be enough to keep his solo line going for a bit longer, and god willing my credentials come through I can witness it in person. Maybe I'm just biased because he comprises a good chunk of my wardrobe now, but I really think he is one of the most underrated and underappreciated designers within this community.

Robbie is a great guy, truly. It's very kind of him to mention us.

Public School is nice, to me is like a more versatile version of Silent. I just wish it wasn't so hyped though.

EXACTLY what I said yesterday. And I hate myself for even saying that. . These guys are mastering the wearable, solid stuff that I can see many people wearing. It's becoming less literal.

I struggle a lot with Public School. They seem to make decent clothing, but their styling and presentations always put me off.

Well the are Creative Directors of DKNY now, so lets see if LVMH money is gonna be used to help them expand, even though mr Arnault seems to have tighten his purse in recent years

I'll second this. He's a very kind and solid dude. And for that though I might not be in love with the direction he's going in, I'll continue to support him because of who he is.
