    Was only a matter of time, the voice of the people wins again! At this point though, I wonder if there will be a time when the spikes will just stop being considered a method of deterring whomever from doing whatever. It seems that no matter where they get installed, they get removed within a short period of time due to public backlash.

      i find the whole phenomenon of defensive architecture very interesting. appalling, but interesting, and a fine example of society trying to solve problems at the wrong end, as has been discussed here.
