FS: VOLGA VOLGA PAINTED BAG/RUCKSACK

On offer is a large leather portfolio bag made by Volga Volga for COL. Made in Japan. Its black leather has been painted - white on one side and light yellow on the other - and has a craquelure finish. The bag has a unique construction with metal fasteners, wiring and clasps. In its conventional state, the bag is folded double; it can be unclasped at the top to expand to its full dimensions. The strap construction also allows the bag to be worn alternatively as a rucksack. The bag is fully lined in a rather thick, very supple white cotton, and there is an inside pocket running the width of the bag and divided in two with stitching.

Closes with a sturdy two-directional zip.

Rare piece; excellent condition.

FS: M.A+ DOCTOR'S BAG

On offer is a doctor's bag by Maurizio Amadei in a rare camel leather version. The leather has a beautiful mottled rust pallet and, upon close inspection, a slightly waxy finish. The overall impression is of dark rust. The camel leather is quite robust and should hold up extremely well; the base is doubled for extra strength. The metal used for the opening of the bag and the clasp has a blackish antique look to it. There is a handy inside zip pocket as well.

Brand new never used.

FS: Incarnation (Guidi) black leather bag

For sale is a black leather over-shoulder bag by Incarnation. The leather is by Guidi, with the typical thickness, subtle dye variations (blacks, greys, charcoal, blue) and striation which those familiar with the illustrious tannery have come to appreciate. The bag can be worn or carried in two ways: 1) worn across the body using the long adjustable strap with oxidixed clasp and 2) carried over the shoulder or back using the two wrapped leather handles which have been cut out from and form one single piece with the bag itself. In other words, the handles have not been sewn on separately; they are an extension of the piece of leather used to fashion the sides of the bag. So they are extremely sturdy. The zip is also made to last.
