I've heard the collection is called Mastodon.

Please resize the pictures, that bald model’s head is terrifying in that size.

I think the footwear is hideous, looks like Adidas is pushing their iconic silhouettes onto Rick. I could be wrong though, maybe it’s just Rick’s take on them the way Dunks, Geos and Ramones were a take on iconic sneakers as well.

Anyways; love the jizz stains, not so sure about all that denim though. The blanket-y drapes are cool, too.
Still gotta see the video though to see the garments move.

Well, not feeling the pants at all. So far my favorite piece is painted coat with buttons on side.
        And what's with the branding?

Have to agree. The footwear looks bad imo. I thought they were vintage adidas shoes.

          Loved the soundtrack though.

from an outsider perspective (and regardless if I like this or not), it's interesting to see the brand / aesthetics slowly evolve with each new collection. However it leaves me wondering about the cohabitation between what seems to be more and more two worlds inside the same brand universe, this "creative" "evolving" thing with a changing aesthetics and the permanent RO aesthetics with monochrome (black), dropcrotches and Geos.... (pretty much his "défilé" vs how he's dressed)

I wonder at what point the brand doesnt risk to be split in two... (the true question here is how to renew itself without repeating ad infinitum the same shit)

So I sent a few pictures to my brother, who couldn't know/care less about fashion, and I said, "what does this look like?"

              He said, "you in 1998."

I used to wear JNCO's with military surplus and salvation army trench coats in high school and early college with bowling shoes I stole because I was super edgy ha.

I'm glad I get to bring the look back next year.

Seriously, though, I'm excited about the use of color, the cropped jackets and high-waisted pants, the luxurious ultra-comfy coats, and the completely new shorts silhouette. Good stuff.

I kid you not, that was my exact same thought on the pants.
I had the JNCO's and the Boss's, with that baggy flair.

They are. Look at the toe cap and the three stripes.

This is fundamentally hideous to me. Never had that response to a Rick show before.

Adidas branding, lux UFOs, corpse paint, that goddamn implied fire texture? Michelle's been out of town, hasn't she.

At the very least it looks much better in motion, but some of this is skirting Jeremy Scott territory.

I can't seem to wrap my head around this collection. The majority of it simply screams "mall-goth" to me, personally. I do enjoy the mock necks and the sweater with piping (?), though.

It's Cyberdog meets Saville Row. It will all make sense once Rick's post show interview is up. Don't panic.
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

Footwear is conspicuously horrendous. Not into the pants from the pictures either. I like some of the outerwear, and it feels like he's moving in a new direction (gradually).
