I've heard the frames are 100% made of 925 silver. Is this true? Then $1250 for a pair?

yes, the frames are all silver and not exactly the easiest thing to make. The lenses are a custom made and a special size, which makes them pretty pricey too. The lenses are made by some german company and supposedly of the highest quality.

Given that it's a special collaboration and that the frame is entirely silver, I'd be surprised if they didn't retail higher than that. They'll be available in natural silver or black silver.
