Thanks for this. I need at least 2 coats from this
                Brilliant.

Edit: ofc, I'm not talking about the hippy pop patterns one

Oh, yes, that's quite a good one. It's not going to be my favourite collection from him, but it's a huge improvement over the past few debacles, it feels good to see what I like about Dries again. I love most of the tailored coats and the use of embroideries. (What's with the 70's-band-meet-graffiti print anyway? Besides vaguely echoing the recurring snake motif it seems quite ill-fitted with the rest of the collection, I'm sure there's some back story to it.)
The show at Garnier must have been wonderful

A wonderful collection. Easily his best since SS13. The shapes are great even on their own, all the fabrics and colours are wonderful, and unlike recent seasons the prints/embroideries/etc don't feel gimmick.

It's great to see Dries back on his A game.

not entirely sure why in the second from last image he has put what appears to be the SAS logo/crest on the jacket

i know this is good. i know this is beautiful. but somehow i still don't find dries to be all that interesting. i've never felt any excitement looking at his collections. i guess it just comes down to personal preferences.

The show was held at backstage at the 150 year old Palais Garnier Opera building. Easily one of the most impressive presentations I've seen, the location was out of this world.

Obviously, photos will not convey the atmosphere, but here is my try: http://www.sz-mag.com/news/2016/01/d...en-fw16-paris/

                            wow.

And that's definitely the SAS badge/crest on the embroidered jacket in the 4th photo. Weird.

Seems like Dries is in the Fall - ON, Spring - OFF pattern. This was great!
