Oh dear, this is not what I was expecting at all. It reminds me of a Prada collection, with all those clashing prints and fabrics.

Ann D will always remain my favourite; but this is so far removed from the brand ideology that was established since it's conception.

I understand that Sebastian is trying to move into new territory with his work.. rather than echo the past... But there's nothing here that conjures up the magic that Ann created.

I'd like to hear the inspiration behind this collection, im getting a Wild West meets Andy Warhol vibe.

Hopefully the womenswear will give us something a little darker.

Unless he is assuming this collection will conjure up a whole new group of people interested in the brand, I can't see how this was passed through the layers of the company. He just alienated the entire fan base. RIP

^ I don't think it's that bad in terms of consequences for the company. There's quite a few looks here that are perfectly fine for a normal Ann customer, and even more single items. Of course they're hidden between some very questionable ones, but the shops will do their editing as always and it will be fine.

Nonetheless I'm surprised by how bad this is as a whole. The first two collections after Ann officially left were both very strong, so it's not as if the new team is unable to create a good collection on their own.
