Either you are creative and you produce awesome stuff like lets say [resonance;] or if you dont feel that creative keep the good work from other seasons and change them up a bit like new versions (for example Rick's geos/stooges/etc.)3rd option?Make a collection full of weird tees with words.Ok there are people for that too,i know. But Julius didnt start like this.Where are the beautiful leather jackets and boots? The "i havent seen anything like that" feeling is totally gone

This is rough... I almost would not even call this Julius.

Perhaps I should wait to see the rest, though...

Went to the showroom today. The runway represented a small fraction of the collection. All of the pieces you'd expect from them is all in there and so so much more.

I wasn't able to make it to the show, but judging by these photos, I don't find this nearly as offensive as some of the comments here make it seem. Also, Ahimsas description of the show made it sound pretty cool.

At least I'd say I would not wear those items.

I don't think I can oppose any nod to British Murder Boys.

I still buy Julius now and then, but do find their items much less exciting lately.

to be completely honest, it wasn't terribly easy to see the clothes from where i was [although i was standing on the highest platform available].

people were behaving like idiots with their phones in the way and all that bullshit, but the staff kept coming by to literally bat them away [which was fucking awesome].

BUT, maybe the coolest fucking runway presentation i've ever been to.

reminded me of the first time i went to an underground rave while studying in London - was just fucking. cool.

lighting, music, atmosphere, effects, crowd, made me feel like fashion was cool again.

but, didn't really get a chance to see / appreciate / consider the clothing at the show [but also not miffed by that at all].

This is definitely a very confusing collection by Tatsuro, the concept of the industrial Rave scenario works but the clothes lack the aesthetic i have always admire from Tatsuro's work. The knits and leathers speak to me but the graphics and long tee shirts really take away from Tatsuros work and it feels more like NILOS.
We hope that people will begin to see beyond the superficial surface of things and understand that there is far more to a design than just the way it looks on the outside.

I wasn't there and will never be, so I have no idea how cool the runway was in person. I'm mostly touching fashion through a dusty screen of my laptop and, to be honest, from here the biggest part of all these shows look rather uninspiring and flat. I'm a simple-minded guy and having no knowledge of a specialist to appreciate this thing or criticize that thing, I sense fashion, style, art, whatever more straightforward and naïve, but when it hits it turns out to be a complete blowout: early Raf, best Jun's shows, old Yohji, when I saw Carpe or CCP or Rick stuff for the first time etc. etc. all these were so different, so punkish and so close to the things I always cherish in my life, that I found out that fashion can be really cool. I hardly find it that inspiring now, just keep loving the things I fell in love with like 10 years ago, but this presentation (even if I only observed it through good old laptop screen) brought some echoes of that forgotten excitement. I mean, yeah, the shoes are ugly and "I enjoy luxury" is stupid and the clothes are not as sharp as they used to be, but it differs from the monotony of countless regular shows, for someone maybe, in a bad way, and even so I find it exciting and appealing.

P.S. I mentioned it before and I want to underline it again: SZ runway and backstage photos are amazing! It would be great to see some from the Julius showroom
