Total mistake on my part, don't know why I didn't include these albums in my initial post, been listening to them constantly:

          Spectral Voice - Necrotic Doom
Spectral Voice - Eroded Corridors of Unbeing
          Swallowed - Lunarterial
Dendritic Arbor / Infinite Waste - Split
Infester - To the Depths, in Degradation (for the old school Death Metal fans)

Got an incredible 4 LP set of the remastered Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by the Smashing Pumpkins for my birthday. It's such a beautiful object, and of course sounds amazing. Also got the remastered 2LP The Wall by Pink Floyd for my birthday. Continuing on the classics - sorry to bore you.

May I ask you how the sound is different compared to the original? Perhaps I'm wrong but I'm always a bit afraid with this big wave of Re-issues losing their trademark sound I fell in love with in the first place.

I really loved and still love their EP "What a pleasure" and had high expectations for this album. Even though there are a lot of good songs and I can see a progress it never clicked.

Just noticed a few weeks ago that they released a new album last year which I'm going to use as my soundtrack for this spring.

It sounds better than my CD, but I think my CD is also a remaster, since I lost the original. In myl experience so far every remaster I have bought sounds better than the original - more clear and expansive, but not metallic/hollow, if that's what you are trying to get at. The Pretty Hate Machine by NIN remaster on CD is my go to for testing new equipment. Then again, industrial and synth pop, two of the genres I favor, were meant for remaster in my opinion. As opposed to say Led Zeppelin.

Has anyone here substituted buying music to Spotify subscriptions? Found that it was more convenient.
