MA+ STAPLE BOOT (41)



Iconic staple boot by ma+, originally a black but the patina has morphed these into an incredible green. Came from theaddict, who was the original owner. He wore them in well! �� I’ve worn them under five times. I love them, just not my aesthetic at the moment. Size fits like a 41 in A1923, or a 7 in CCP. Leather is soft, not stiff, making them very comfortable throughout, including the shaft. (Would recommend using shape-holders while not being worn.) All photos of actual item.

A fantastic and modestly priced entry point into GBS’s work and aesthetic, this blazer is remarkably thin, summer weight, and is really more of a shirt in fabric and feel, with small panel lining. Striped blue and white fabric with matching fabric buttons, will dress up a summer fit with some length and whimsy. Purchased used in excellent condition, unworn by me out of the home. Purchased at H Lorenzo, retail $725. Full linen light coat great for spring-summer in a gorgeous grey linen. Fabric is a very breathable linen which holds an elegant rumple beautifully. An elongated jacket vibe to this one with a hidden placket, a single rear vent, and a back featuring anatomical stitching and a great rear-belt detail. Worn twice, excellent condition with no flaws.

The Platonic ideal of a work boot shape by A1923, in a smooth, shiny, grainless horse leather. Boots are in good condition -- they've seen some wear, and have the scuffs and knicks to prove it! But none of these marks draw the boot outside Simone's aesthetic. One metal tip of each boot's laces have fallen off -- this happened early on -- I just tuck that end into the boot with no sacrifice to fit, form, or function.

These are the FW14 season's "nero," a black which started out with a rich eggplant undertone that is becoming lighter over time. (I suspect they were painted bone underneath it all, so any scuffs show up as light-shaded markings.) Now they're a unique hue that is a great alternative to a standard black.

I wear a 41 in A1923, 7 in CCP, am about an 8.5 or 9US and they fit me very well -- I have room for an insole or lift when I wear them. Vibramed from Day 1.
