Up for sale is a piece from the Collateral Concepts studio:
Washed And Shaped Black Horween Horsehide Leather Jacket w/Black Cotton Lining
Up for sale is one of the last pieces that I had created in the Collateral studio over the last several months.
The jacket is constructed out of rich black shadow-grained Horween horsehide. Seamwork follows the body's lines of movement and motion with arcing transitions and intersections creating visual continuity throughout the jacket. The construction of the jacket was done to ensure to true 3-Dimensional fit that follows the natural contours of the body.
Front pockets have handsewn reinforcements at the corners and there are dual inner chest pockets as well built into seams of the pure black cotton lining. Every leather seam has been hand basted flat on the inside prior to installing the lining.
The zipper is a two way locking custom RiRi zipper- the best and most expensive on the market. A heavy duty tarnished pull was added as well for a logo-less finish.
After construction, the jacket was machine washed and then dried over the course of two days on a form to not only give the leather a dull luster, but to allow even more "human form" shaping to the jacket. Even when hung, the jacket looks like it has lived on someone as a second skin.

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam- 17"
Underarm to underarm- 20"
Shoulder seam to cuff- 27"
Total length (base of neck to back hem)- 25"
The jacket fits a 48 nicely with any top and for those that like a snug leather jacket fit, can fit a size 50 with a t-shirt.
