Handmade Original Reversible 1940's US Military Reproduction Trouser

Size - 30-32 / Price $1200

This limited edition NVP03 trouser design is one of only 2 pieces made by hand in the world. It was created from Geoffrey B. Small's*own original reversible 1940’s US military reproduction trouser reproduction pattern from extensive tailoring research using a very special greggio double-faced organic tailor’s linen and cotton (which was not treated or finished with any chemicals) woven for Geoffrey exclusively by Luigi Parisotto and family in Sarcedo, Italy, then specially hand dyed with a special process which took about 6 hours for each piece to achieve its special Darkest Black*patina and unique effects.

The piece also features special buttons in real horn made for Geoffrey in Parma Italy by Claudio and Cinzia Fontana, Italy’s greatest button-makers and then specially hand dyed in Cavarzere workrooms, each one double-backed with vintage recycled color buttons, real hand stitched buttonholes and extensive real double-stitched seaming throughout the garment performed by single-needle sewing machine authentic to the period, that took more than twice as long to create the garment than using typical double-needle equipment.

Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special hand making technique.
