The doesn't quite stick out like other rick products where there is ample length in the two tabs and the garment tag sort of dangles. they're sort of stitched right onto the seam.

also, 2095 EU roughly translates into 2300 USD which seems awfully inexpensive for kangaroo at list price. Thats lamb pricing for sure.

A few more pictures to show the thinness and leather. I don't have much experience with Rick Kangaroo but to me this smells and feels like other lamb products.

    Thanks for your help everyone.

looks like lamb to me. but i'm by no means an expert on kangaroo. sternbergs usually cost a bit less than other styles though.

do you like it? don't keep it if you don't like it. who cares if it's made of lamb or unicorn? i have a jacket that's tagged calf, feels like lamb. hammered lamb from older collections is considered "better" than newer calf a lot of the time from rick so it's really all relative anyway.

if it was my 2k i would buy like three lightly used leathers from crust on grailed instead, but it's really all about what you feel is the best use of your money.

like i said, I like the jacket, a lot. My concern is more with the durability. I'm more worried about the leather ripping apart while i put it on because it looks so delicate.

and also, I want to make sure the jacket isn't some sort of factory defect or tagged improperly.

If you dont feels good or have doubts about the leather, I would suggest you to return it. Kangaroo leather might be strong, but it definitely depending on the OZ imo.

I'm a 43 so it's possible. I haven't quite figured out the differences in men vs women's models. You definitely need to buy these from a store that can articulate all of the nuances to ensure you get what you want.

This is true but I think prices are somewhat better now. Altieri continues to refine the product as well. Based on what I've seen, they are much better that the first runs.

From my experience, yes. You may want to size up depending upon the model but that is best to discuss with whoever you are purchasing from.

I believe this is a silk tornado dress -- the tags were still attached and it's Naska SS12. I hardly wear white but this specific color, Vanilla, is fantastic! So many dimensions depending on the lighting. Some times it has a golden hue, then green, then taupe. It's enough to make me consider a biker jacket in Vanilla... but at $150 this was a pretty easy decision.
